If you ever get the opportunity to come by our offices in Maumelle, Arkansas, you’re more than welcome! However, for many of our clients, that is not possible. Because of this, we’d like to guide you through a photo tour here on our website. Come on in.
  • Entrance to Ink Custom Tees
As soon as you enter into our front offices, you’ll be greeted with the !nk exclamation point. (You’ll be greeted with a person as well.) This photo is a small glimpse into our front lobby.
  • Meetings at Ink Custom Tees
We have done our best to look less like a screen printer, and more like an ad agency. The artwork we’ve created is all over the walls, and we use this room to meet with our clients about their job.
  • Ink Offices
If the client meeting room isn’t available, we can also meet in one of our offices. No cubicles here. We fill our offices with our personalities, that way you can feel more relaxed and comfortable.
  • Ink Custom Tees Art Collage
Also located in our front offices is the art department. We have 4 in house graphic designers that work together to give you amazing artwork. What good is a t-shirt if no one wants to wear the design? These rooms are where the magic happens.
  • Ink Custom Tees Screen Room
Once the art is completed, it gets sent to the screen room. Every color separation in the design gets its own screen. We stretch, coat, and burn these screens, then send them back to the warehouse to prepare them for printing.
  • To Screen
The screens are washed and prepared for press. A member of our team checks the art on screen to make sure it was transferred correctly.
  • Finished Screen
The screen goes up on a light table to look for any blemishes or spots of emulsion that did not get washed out correctly. They then tape off the sides, as well as all of the areas that will not be printed on the shirt.
  • Ink Custom Tees
Once the screens are loaded onto the press, a squeegee pushes the ink onto the garment. The 3 most important factors here are angle, speed, and pressure. A team member is monitoring everything to make sure the print comes out great every time.
  • Ink Autos
The automatic presses are what we typically use for jobs that have 72 garments or more. We have 4 automatic presses, and there are usually 4 team members assigned to each press to load, pull, catch, and box the shirts.
  • Manual Presses at Ink Custom Tees
The manual presses are what we typically use for jobs that have less than 72 garments. We have 6 manual presses, and there are usually 2 team members assigned to each press. The team squeegees the ink onto each garment by hand.
  • Inks
Our ink room has over 200 buckets of plastisol, water based, glitter, shimmer, and neon inks. Every bucket has a “recipe” assigned to it, so that a team member can mix new ink at any time for any job.
  • Curing T-Shirts
While the shirt is being printed, there are curing stations that flash the ink, allowing more ink to be laid on top of it without blending or smudging. Note: Designs that need an undercoat will always require this step. It’s kind of like applying a first coat of paint.
  • T-Shirt Curing
Once all of the colors of ink have been printed, the shirt is put through the dryer. If the shirt has a 1 location print, then it is boxed up and ready to go! If it has another location to be printed, it is re-carted, and taken to the front of the machine to start again.
  • Embroidery
Another service we offer is embroidery. We have over 15 embroidery stations in house, as well as an off-site solution for sewing high volumes of polos, hats, bags, etc.
