everyone has a story
Holt Condren graduated from The University Of Arkansas in 1987 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, which included an emphasis in Management.Even with all of that preparation, he still couldn't have seen what was coming next. Having experience as a cheerleader for the Arkansas Razorbacks, Holt saw the need in Arkansas for a quality screen printer. He began brokering T-shirts for teams, clubs, and small businesses around town until one day, he decided to get his own press.
With little actual knowledge of how the industry worked, he tirelessly studied the art of screen printing. Fueled by relentless entrepreneurship, he began to fall in love with the craft. And eventually, in 1988, Holt put a name on his craftsmanship - Ink Enterprises. (The name was later changed to Ink Custom Tees.)
Ink was just getting started. In 1993, Scott Masters came on board as an owner, and partnered with Holt in developing Ink by strengthening the creative side of the business. Their complimentary leadership styles proved to be a successful match. With Holt’s vision and Scott’s execution, they grew Ink into becoming the largest screen printer in the state of Arkansas.
However, you can't talk about long-lasting businesses without talking about the recession. Like all small businesses, Ink was hit hard in 2008. Forced to make some difficult decisions, they had to downsize their business across all areas. They were the toughest times Holt and Scott had ever faced, but they pushed forward.
Today, you'll find Ink Custom Tees in Maumelle, Arkansas, better than ever. Along with their strong staff, both men work hard to lead Ink according to the biblical values that define them. Ink has built more than a business - they've built a family and a culture.
